Walter Astrada, fotógrafo argentino da AFP News, estava no Quénia em Fevereiro de 2008 e captou com a sua objectiva todo o confronto decorrente da crise pós-eleitoral. Com essa reportagem fotográfica ganhou o Photographers Giving Back Photo Award 2009, e também o prémio para o melhor fotógrafo do ano, devido às denúncias sobre a situação de violência política feitas com base no seu trabalho.
O Photographers Giving Back Photo Award é um prémio internacional entregue em Estocolmo e que tem este ano a sua segunda edição.
